Well over two decades ago Brian McAuliff was a young electronics engineer, designing circuits for communications and control systems, at a design firm whose primary client was 3M. In his early 20's he was sent to Hong Kong to implement manufacturing of the 3M equipment. After the firm he was working for finished the project, Brian decided to open his own company designing electronics. One of his first products was a load shedding energy management system for a large manufacturing company. It would ensure they would not overload the service in their facility. Word got out and customers who needed smarter electrical systems found him. He has remained ahead of the technology curve, attending dozens of trade conferences and technology courses every year. He has designed data center and emergency power systems which support more than 5 Billion in business. He also consults with business leaders and architects on the future of technology. He has spoken at Stony Brook University’s CEWIT conference, numerous community organizations, and was recently asked to serve on the Suffolk Community College advisory committee for Computer Technology. He is also the Founder of Bri-Tech, Inc. a leading Building and Home Automation company.
